the program wont let me make a new contact from the address book. Stupidly,
it says to "form cannot be displayed" and to contact my administrator, who is
me.

No. I meant the contact folder. I dont use the address book
(and never understood why I would anyway). I use the main contacts folder.
Suddenly, when I hit the "new contact"  button, and it says form cannot be
displatyed and contact the administrator. Any solution? Thanks for your help.
