Shared contacts do not appear in Addressbook (Outlook 2003)

After opening a shared contacts list in Outlook 2003 I then right click and
enter properties however there is no option to "show this folder as an e-mail
addressbook". Is this possible in 2003? The option is certainly available in
previous versions.

Public folders could be used but not folders in someone else's mailbox, if I
remember right
