I have many duplicate contacts in my Outlook 2003 address book, but they
aren't exact duplicates... like

1. John Smith (has phone, fax, address, etc)
2. John Smith (has only his email)
3. John Smith (cell phone)

I want to make them all one contact, is there any way to do this? I have a
database of over 8000 contacts so manually probably won't work well...

No, they aren't duplicates.
The whole purpose of the Outlook Address Book is to present all the
electronic addresses in one interface. That's what most users want. If you
only need email addresses, then only add email addresses to your Contacts or
disguise your other electronic addresses so Outlook won't recognize them as
electronic addresses.
