My computer automatically upgraded to Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 and when
I opened up the program, all of my old contacts had diaspeared with all of
the details. How do I go about retrieving them? I was using Outlook Express
previously.

This is not true.  Office is never subject to automatic upgrades from prior
versions.  Each version of Office is a separately licensed application and
uless you buy a new license and upgrade it yourself, it just doesn't happen.
On top of that, Outlook and Outlook Express are completely separate and
installing Outlook does not affect Outlook Express or the ability to use it.
It may import accounts and contacts (but only with your explicit
permission), but it doesn't disable Outlook Express or remove data from
Outlook Express.
