Simple Form Letters in Outlook 2003 - Not Word Mail Merge

Is there a simple method for mail merge or sending form letters to an
individual contact? Maybe a 3rd party add-in?

What I would LOVE to be able to do is right-click a contact, select "form
letter" and then get a list of form letters I have created. Merging in
contact information would be nice, but not crucial.

As it is right now I have a number of letters in my "Drafts" folder and I
forward those or cut and paste to get the output I want. Not a real
time-saver.

I have used the MS Word Mail Merge, but it is huge overkill when all I want
to do is send a note to a single individual. It is all just so cumbersome.

Thanks,

-Johnnie

Sorry about the "From" in my previously posted message.

Any reason you can't use the "New Letter to Contact" Wizard?

It seems like overkill to send a simple message to a few recipients, but
I'll give it a try and see how well it works. My computer is not
underpowered, but loading MS Word to send an email is not fast, and Outlook
is already open all day long.

Thanks,
Johnnie

Overkill? Hardly. What would be overkill would be to code into Outlook the
same functionality that Word already has. The whole point of integration in
the Office Suite is not to duplicate code. Outlook is already bloated
enough.
