I want to move data from one field (column) to another in Outlook.
I have about 5000 contact files of data to move.
The contact files are in multiple folders and sub folders - some large but
most are small.
I would like to know how to set up some sort of automated one stroke
keyboard command (build a macro?) to do this on an individual contact by
contact file basis.
Something like: "open existing field, copy existing data, delete original
field data, open new field, paste original data, save, move to next existing
field"
Plus, be able to do it on a folder by folder basis, or even on a system wide
basis.
I am not that strong on new technology or the new terms (words), and have
not been able to identify anything in MS or Google that looks like a solution.
Thanks you in advance for your assistance.

I think the easiest way would be to export the contacts fo an Excel file and
use a macro there, importing again when you're finished.
