I don't think that I should have to make a new contact for a spouse when the
2 have identical contact information.  Is there a way to enter a spouses
email address in the same contact file as the other spouse?

If so, when creating a new email, will that new spouse's email address
automatically come up as if it were the primary address in that particular
contact file?

Clarify your question. If the contact information is identical that would
include the email address. Why would you have a second email address to
enter? Is the Contact information identical or not? If not, then create a
second Contact. Why is that so hard?

I have my friend entered as contact.  In his contact file database, there is
a place to enter his spouse.  I also want to enter her email address within
his contact file so that I can keep all of their infomation together rather
then creating seperate contact files.  Is there a way that Outlook will
recognize her email address seperate from his while still being in the same
contact file?

To clarify identical contact information, they have the same phone#,
address, etc., (they live in the same home)  but they have different email
addresses.  Husband and Wife.  Hopefully that is clear enough.

use the email 2 field for her. if it's outlook 2002 or 2003, you can enter
her name as the display name for email 2
