Greetings all.
I have an exchange server and  I did create a master contact list in a
public folder so that it's accessible by other users. The list containse also
various distribution lists.
If you open certain distribution lists, members of the lists are represented
by diferent icons. Some have Contact form icon and some something like mail
icon which I was unable to locate so far.
My question would be why the icon changes from Contact form to "mail" icon
(displays only name and email address) and would it be possible to always
keep members of the distribution list displayed by the Contact form icon?

Any info or suggestions would be great.

how did you add the names? the mail form usually means no contact exists for
that person.

Thank you for a reply, Diane!
I added the names to the distribution list using Select Members option.
Initially, they all have Contact Form icon that is, for some of them,
replaced by mail form icon later on. Members of all our distribution groups
have contact record.

Could it be because distribution lists are not part of the master contact
list?

Thanks.

yes, if the DL is not in the contacts folder with the contacts, they are
detached from the original contact.

Thank you, Diane! I'll try that way.
