I did something that has wiped all the data from outlook. ie all emails,
contacts. Favourites are still there. I am not sure if I can send and receive
emails.  I tried system restore but there were no restore points, can anyone
help get me back.

Enable searching hidden files and folders and look for any files ending in
".pst".  Start Outlook and open each of the PSTs you find with
FIle>Open>Outlook Data File.  If you find the one containing your data,
click Tools>E-mail Accounts>Next and at the bottom, select that PST in the
"Delivery new e-mail to the following location.  Click Finish.  Stop and
restart Outlook.  Then click TOols>E-mail Accounts>Next and see if your
accounts are configured correctly.
