Which file contains the contacts distribution list in Outlook. You describe the components of Outlook but they are not explained and what each file contains. DL's are stored in the Contacts Folder in which you created them, and all Outlook data is in one file. The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
