When I send a message to members of a distribution list, I don't want them to
see who is in that distribution list. I want them to just see the name of the
distribution list, e.i.:

From: my name
To: name of the distribution list

and not,

From: my name
To: joedoe, marypee,etc

Put the DL in the BCC field.
If you think it is useful to have the name of the DL in the To: field (not
sure why it would be), then create a Contact with the name of your DL and
put it in the To: field.
