I would like to add custom or user defined fields to the general tab in the
contacts folder in outlook.  This way you do not have to go to the all fields
tab, select user-defined fields in folder and then input the information.  I
use the user-definded fields with every contact and this way i could input
the information i needed to faster.

You do this by customizing the contact form. See http://www.outlookcode.com/d/forms.htm and http://www.outlookcode.com/d/contactform.htm
