Outlook 2003 mobile phone number format

I would like mobile phone numbers stored in the format as 10 didgets
xxxxxxxxxx, instead outlook changes them to (xx) xxxxxxxx or sometimes +xx
(xx) xxxxxxxx, any ideas?

You cannot change how Outlook masks phone numbers.

i can enter mobile numbers in the format xxxxxxxxx but if i click on the
number it changes format it is assuming the first two didgits are an area
code.
