I've created a new contacts group in "my contacts". I want to globally edit
and place approximately 1000 contacts that I have imported into a specific
"category" I've created. I've read "Making a common change to multiple
contacts". That article seems to apply to "contact" fields but, not to the
"category" field. How do I accomplish this?
Your terminology and use of "quotation marks" make your post imprecise and
indecipherable.
Please clarify your post.
Read this before you do. Pay special attention the part that says, "use this
technique to update any field other than Categories"

That's the second time you've assisted me in as many days. It couldn't have
been to indecipherable, you ciphered it perfectly. Once again your answer was
right on the money.
Thanks,
Mitch

I just wasn't sure I understood what you were asking. Glad I guessed right.
