In Outlook 97/98 you can make the kind of +852-1234-5678
phone format in contacts. In Outlook 2002 this kind of
freedom is not allowed. It has to be +852 12345678 or +852
(1234)5678. However, my Sonny mobile cannot recognize
blank and (). Can anyone here tell me how to get this
kind of freedeom back in Outlook2000? Thanks.

No such option in any version of Outlook. Masking of phone numbers is hard
coded.
