import and export contacts

i have outlook 2003. when i try to import to contacts, the option is not
actvated(it apears grey and i can't use it)

Tell us where you are looking for the option.
Verify that you have Outlook's Importers and Exporters installed.

i found the answer in the Help provided by outlook.
i have solved the problem by changing the regional setings. the office
version is romanian and the regional setings were for english.
tank you anyway for the help provided.
i have tried what you are saying before write the message, without any
result.
