Hi,

I'm trying to add the private contacts to the address book in outlook2000,

I go into properties for the folder contacts, and select the third pane
"outlook-addressbook" but I can not select "Show this........" It's greyed
out.

Anyone have an explanation / Solution for this?

Explain what you mean by Private Contacts. Is that a separate folder?
Verify that you have added the Outlook Address Book Service to this profile.

Thank you for your reply, But I found the solution 2 minutes after I opened
this:
"He/She needs to add the Outlook Address Book service. In OL2002/2003 go to
the Tools menu > Email accounts > Add new address book / directory > Click
Next > Choose Additional Address Books > Click Next then follow the obvious
prompts"

Thank you
