Hello all,

I am using outlook 2003 and I need to be able to import vcf files into a
contact folder other than the default contact folder to which the vcf files
are now going. There are about 100 contacts that need to be imported and I
dont see any other way of importing them into the new contact folder, which
is called GKCONTACTS, other then letting them go into the default CONTACT
folder then dragging and dropping them.
Can anyone recommend a more efficient way of doing this such as setting
GKCONTACTS as the temporary default and then just switching back to CONTACTS
when I am finished?

Also where would the CONTACTS and GKCONTACTS be stored? In other words is a
local file created on the local computer or would these folders be stored on
the exchange server. We are running Exchange 2003 just as an fyi.

Any help is appreciated Thanks.

Keith.

As you open each .vcf file, instead of choose Save and Close, choose File | Move to Folder.

If you're importing into an Exchange mailbox, then the data is on the Exchange server, possibly with a replica on your local hard drive.
