I don't think you'll be able to recover those contacts unless you have a backup .pst file.

Yeah, I figured as much. Is this something I could report to Microsfot as a
bug? The usual behavior for "cancel" is to put things back where they were.
I really think in this case (mass deletion of contacts) that "Cancel" should
behave like normal. Anyone on this list know how to submit that request to
Microsoft?
