Using Outlook 2003, sp2, (11.6568.6568), Windows XP Pro:
In navigation pane, I have Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Folder List.  When I
click on "Mail" I get the usual Mail folders.  When I click on "Contacts" the
very top of the pane says "Contacts" followed underneath by "My Contacts" and
a small window that is blank.  Under that, I get Current View with the same
options I got when I clicked "Mail" i.e. Messages, messages with autopreview,
last seven days, etc.  The only way I can see my contacts is if I right click
the option at the bottom and select "Open in New Window".

What type of account?  You should see at least one Contacts folder - the
default delivery location Contacts.

I don't know what you mean by "What type account".  I see nothing in that
window.  It's as if "Contacts" didn't exist.

Brian
I have been sweating over this since yesterday morning.  I had a sleepless
night over it.  Since your reply to me, I kept playing with it.  I finally
right clicked the folder "contacts" and got an option of something to the
effect "display in my contacts" and I clicked that.  Now it is working
correctly.  Thanks for your help, although you didn't provide the answer, I
appreciate your time.

I'm glad you're happy, but it still puzzles me, since you shouldn't have to
add your delivery location Contacts folder to the Contacts view in the
Navigation Pane.  Oh, well.
