Can I edit the Contact Auto Suggestion list?

when staring an email, the Auto Suggestion feature suggests name/email
addresses for people I don't need to contact and old email addresses that are
no good anymore.  The worst part is that sometimes it only shows a Name, but
2 or 3 times each of which is a different address, but since the name is all
that is shown I can't tell which is correct.

If all you want to do is to remove old names, when the list is displayed,
use the arrow keys to navigate to the undesired entry and press the Delete
key.  If you want actually to edit the entry, you'll need a commercial
product like http://www.ingressor.com/
