how to transfer address book from desk top to notebook?

How do I transfer the info in my desktop Outlook address book to my Notebook
address book?  

When I use Outlook from my wireless notebook I do not have any info in my
address book.   I assume it is the same address book when I use my desktop.

I have Windows XP Professional on my desktop and Windows XP Home on my
notebook.

Your post is confusing because there is no Address Book in Outlook. All data
is stored in Contacts Folders.
If that's what you want to transfer:
The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
