Every time I try to send an email I am given a message box to say -
"A program is trying to acceess e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook.
Do you want to allow this?
I am sure it is Norton Internet Security or possible Google Desktop - aI
want to allow both of these - how do I stop this pop-up every time and permit
permanaent access by these programs?

Check to see if you have any add-in under Add-in or Com Add-ins.  check under
Tools - Options - Other - Advanced Options.  Check both COM Add-in and Add-in.

Brian,
Sorry, as you can see from the above rpaet of your message, I'm a new boy to
this system and didn't get it right first time.
That fluster made me forget the other snippit of feedback - it wasn't Norton
or Google that was the current offender, it was my pdf converter every time I
started a new email - really irritating, and now gone forever - many, many
thanks!
