All Microsoft office products are easily saved in My Documents EXCEPT Outlook.
I use Outlook 2003 and want to be able to save it in My Documents so that I
can backup my Contacts easily.
The process of saving Outlook Contacts in My Document is difficult and
daunting, to say the least.
Once you manage to save Contacts in My Documents, you will have to update it
manually on a regular basis.
Outlook should let me save in MY Documents as easy as any other Microsoft
Office Programs.
Also, Outlook Contacts should open automatically from within My Documents
without the hassle of OPEN WITH prompts.
I would like to see a user friendly Outlook.

What is your question?
You can store your Outlook Data File wherever you want.
Feel free to place it in My Documents.

Contacts are not data stored separately from any of your other Outlook data.
All mail, contacts, tasks, appointments, etc. are all stored in the same
file. To save this file for backup purposes, get the Personal Folders
Backup utility from Microsoft and/or visit this site:

It's easy, to say the least. Obviously you're making it much harder than it
really is.
