Only half correct. You must change existing Contacts yourself. The setting
does apply to new Contacts.

In addition to what Russ has posted, depending on your version of Outlook,
and if you feel a little adventurous, you can use this to change your
contacts:

I tried it and it works - so, if I can do it, so can anyone else (note: I am

...except that he wants to change the Full Name field, not the File As
field. I don't know of a code sample to do that, but I imagine there is one
somewhere.
