My boss' computer has the latest, most accurate telephone numbers for a lot
of folks I rarely call, but need accurate info on occasionally. I am also
constantly adding and modifiying phone numebers and contact info. How can I
import his contact info without erasing my contact info. How can I export my
latest contact info without overwriting his contact info?

Importing will create multiple contact entries.  It won't merge the data
into existing contact entries, so you don't have to worry about overwriting.
What you'll have to worry about is having to manually copy the data from the
extra entries into one.
