MS Office Forum / Outlook / Contacts / January 2006how do I migrate outlook 2000 categories to outlook 2003?
I have used kb article kb197342 to export registry data and imported it into another cpu but only adds it into office 9.0 and in 11.0. Checked the master category list but did not add the extra categories Did you use Notepad to edit the exported .reg file and change HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Outlook\Categories to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Categories?
