I have moved to outlook from another contact management program. I have just
sent my Christmas cards to a group of 350 contacts. Now I want to do a
global edit for that group adding the note that they were sent the card.
Where do I find that feature in Outlook? I'm assuming it's called something
else in outlook instead of a global edit? Thanks for your help & Merry
Christmas to all : )
The way I manage that is with categories: Select all those contacts in the Contacts folder, right-click, choose Categories and enter a category of 2005 Xmas Sent. I also have a 2005 Xmas Rcvd category for those people who send me cards. Since you can have multiple categories on one item, you can track your card sending and receiving for several years with that one field.
