need to sort contacts in Ascending or Descending in Category view

and Not collapse all groups and sort the whole contact list in whichever
column I choose to sort them in.

Does anyone know how to fix this,,,please advise.

Hi Paul, I am guessing you may need to experiment with and perhaps reset some
of your views
Choose View, Current view from the menu to see what is available
TO reset to defaul views, choose View>Current View> Define Views
Select each view, one at a time, and click the RESET button, if it is not
greyed out. Now you will have more flexibility
