Changing follow up times for multiple contacts in OL 2003

As sharp as I am at customizing my OL experience, I haven't been able to
figure this one out.  There are some days that I simply can't get back in
touch with all of the contacts that I've flagged for follow up.  Therefore, I
have to go into each contact and change the follow up time for when I think I
can get in touch with them.  This process is just a bad time burning activity
that should have some short cut.

I would like a way to change the follow up time for various contacts.  It
would be wonderful if I could simply highlight multiple contacts (in the
phone list view) that I want to assign a specific time for, then just change
the time once...as opposed to the one-by-one process that I've been relegated
to.

I've tried grouping all of my contacts (in the phone list view) by reminder
time.  Then, I've dragged the group of contacts from a specific time to
another group.  This seemed to place them in my desired group, as well as
display them in the phone list at the appropriate time, yet the follow up
time is still showing in red in the originally scheduled time.  In other
words, the contact got moved, but there was no update to the follow up time.

Now that I've made this clear as mud, I want to thank you in advance for any
assistance that you can provide.  There are some uber sharp people on this
board, and I hope that one of you can help me reclaim the time I lose each
day on this basic task.

Thanks!

Youre on the right track  using drag-and-drop in a grouped view to update multiple items at once. The problem is that you picked the wrong field. Instead of Reminder Time, use the Due By field from the All Mail Fields list. Thats the field that corresponds to the flag follow-up date for contacts.

Sue,

As always, thanks for the help!
