Hello,

On a fresh, updated install of Outlook 2003, the application crashes
when I delete a contact from my contact list.
The Windows XP event log shows an error with ID 1000, and the following
additional information:

Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.6565.0, stamp 42cacc7d,
faulting module oleaut32.dll, version 5.1.2600.2180, stamp 41109862,
debug? 0, fault address 0x00004ba4.

What can I do to resolve this please?

Kind regards,
Mark Veldhuis.

Start by providing some useful troubleshooting information:
If this is a "fresh, updated" installation, how were these Contacts created?
What information store are you using and how was it connected to this new
installation?
How did you "update" this installation?
What do you mean by "contact list?"
What steps are you using to delete the Contacts, from what view and at what
point does Outlook "crash?"
