I entered all my contacts in different files in the address book ie Family,
Friends.
But deleted the individual entries. But I don't always want to send an
e-mail to
everybody in the list. How can I remove somebody from the list when
required. Without deleting the entry.

Clarify your post.
What do you mean by "different files?"
What do you mean by "deleted individual entries?"
I assume you meant Contact Folders, not "address book" since you should not
use the address book view for entering or editing information.
Always include your version when you post a question. We can't guess that.
