Just like any other: You enter them in the To: field of a message.

I knew I could do that. My question centered on when I create a new email
message and click on the TO button, my Contacts list opens (as it should).
When I double click a contact, the default email address is the one used for
the message. I wanted to know how to invoke the second or third email
address without changing the default.
I think I just figured it out. Start a new email message, click on the TO
button and the Contacts list opens. Right click on the contact with multiple
email addresses and, in the pop up window, select Action, then in the next
pop up window select Send Mail To. The final pop-up window shows all of the
email addresses stored for the contact. Select the one to use for this
message. None of this is explained in the Outlook Help stuff.
Thanks anyway for trying.

Not so.
When you open the Outlook Address Book, each address is listed separately.
That's why your question made no sense.
Perhaps you are not using the Outlook Address Book.

PS From your description you are using the Windows Address Book, not the
Outlook Address Book.

I am having a similar problem usiing Outlook Contacts.
When I select a series of contacts (all contacts from within a particular
category view, for example) and hit the email button, I get the correct email
window with all the "E-mail" field contents within the "To" field.
What I want to do is to send to all the email addresses for each contact.
Can you help?

"Hit the email button?"
Clarify what you're doing. Include your Outlook version.
Actions > New Message to Contact will use all email addresses for each
Contact.

I'm using Outlook 2002.
By "hit the email button" i mean the "New message to contact" icon on the
Standard Toolbar.
This is a very straight forward issue: How do we send an email to all the
addresses we have for a contact (E-mail, E-mail 2, E-mail 3) automatically,
rather than just the default "E-mail"?
Many thanks

Use the New Message to Contact option in the Actions menu. For every
installation I've ever seen, that will use all the electronic address fields
a Contact has.

Like Russ said. Select the contact and click Action>New Message to Contact
to open a compose window with all addresses of that contact in the To field.

Thanks guys, but this only works when you have a SINGLE contact chosen. How
can I repeat this when I have more than one contact selected?
Is there perhaps an option somewhere that I need to change?
Continued thanks,

You're wrong on that. Highlight as many as you wish, including an entire
group, then click Actions>New Message to Contact. The Compose widnow that
appears will have your entire selection in the "To" field.

That's just it - it doesn't use all the electronic adresses from the chosen
contacts; just the default 'E-mail' one!
If it is supposed to act as you describe, it does not on my version - MS
Outlook 2002 (10.6515.6735) SP3.
Do I need a fix or is their an option somewhere that needs to be ticked?

I'll test it on my OL 2002 at home tonight.

OK, I've verified the behavior you describe for Outlook 2002. If one
contact is highlighted, Actions>New Message to Contact places all of the
contact's addresses in the To field, but if more than one contact is
selected, only the "E-mail" address is added.

Thanks for varifying that Brian. So it is not a bug in my system...
Now, is there any way to change this to have the Action include all the
E-mail addresses for multiple contacts?
Cheers,

And I've veryfied the behavior in Outook 2003 as well. What I had tried
before involved clicking only a single contact.

I suspect not.
