MS Office Forum / Outlook / Contacts / January 2006Disappearing Contacts
Hi, one of our staff is using Outlook 2003 with a contact list which is stored on the exchange server. Another staff member including myself is trying to add contacts to this list but when we click Action > Add New Contact. Enter the contacts details and click save and close it will appear for a second or two and then disappear. It cannot be found in a search either. Thanks for your help Cheers, Tayven. I don't see any Action | Add New Contact command when I'm looking at the list of contacts in a public folder. Where are you seeing that command? You could also press "Ctrl N" or "right click New Contact". Theres no need to get entirely specific on what I have written you know what I mean. Ctrl+N, yes, but not Actions | New Contact. That's why I'm trying to pin down the exact steps you're following.
