I do not get the option to select any country in Outlook.
I go to Contacts, Actions, Call Contact, New Call, Dialing Properties.
When I use the pull down list it is completely blank no country's are listed.
I also do not have a modem connected and Iam wondering if that is my problem
since I cannot dial out.
The real issue is when I enter a contact and thier phone number I am always
asked to put in my country code and area code I am dialing from and I cannot
get rid of this annoyance.
Then set your dialing location for your operating system. Control Panel >
Phone and Modems...

I tried that and I get the same window to select a location region and there
are no country's listed there either.
I understand what you are getting to is there anothe way to set Outlook to
my system?

You appear to have a problem with the setup of your operating system, not
Outlook.
