I have an MSN mail account with Mail, Calendar and Contacts, and just
installed Outlook 2003 which also has a default Calendar and Contacts.
Connecting to my MSN ,mail acct via Outlook and using Outlook Connector my
MSN Calendar and Contacts are brought into Outlook and kept current. But the
default Outlook Calendar and Contacts are used by default unless I click the
checkbox in each view to use the MSN copies only(uncheck the Outlook
defaults), but this "checking" is not remembered. How do I make the MSN
copies the default for Outlook? Thanks.

Unless you're using Outlook Live, you can't.

I have MSN Premium installed which the Outlook 2003 help says is comparable
to Outlook Live. With Premium installed can I make my MSN Contacts,Calendar
the default in Outlook?

Outlook Live is a download from MSN.  Retail or OEM Outlook 2003 is not
equivalent.
