Deleting old email addresses

Hi

Several of my email contacts have changed their email
address over the time I've known them. However, when I am
addressing an email to them the address autocomplete
still prompts me with their old email address as well as
the new one, with the result that sometimes I
inadvertently send mail to the wrong address. I have
deleted the old address from my contacts, deleted it from
my address book, but it still comes up as an option in
autocomplete. How can I get rid of it?

Remove individual addresses from the autocompletion cache by highlighting
the entry when presented in the suggested names list (use your arrow key to
migrate to the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before you tab out of
the field. To clear the entire cache, follow the instructions here:
