Creating a Dist. List from Excel Entries

I have been copying and pasting email information into new distribution lists
from an Excel Spreadsheet (using the Filtering of a large list to create
specific Dist. Lists for portions of my people). It has been working fine,
except for one Dist. List that gives me an "The Operation Failed" message
when I try to send an Email to the recipients. I wondered if there is a limit
to the number of entries in a Dist. List, as this list ends up having 92
"members" after I have added all the names? OR is there another problem?

There are no limits on the size of a DL. Those limits are imposed by your
mail server.
Large DL's are unwise. DL's rarely work for very long without becoming
corrupted. The larger the DL, the more easily it becomes corrupt.

Russ,

Thank you for your PROMPT input. We have "amended" the large list and things
seem to be working now.
