How can I change the default font for the "notes" field.  Also, how can I get
all existing contacts to have the font updated with the newly selected font

Thank you for your response.

Your suggestion refers to fonts used in email.  I am trying to change the
default font that is used in the "notes" field which is a field in the
contacts form.

This would change the font for all new contacts.  I also want to change all
existing contacts, so that the font displayed in the notes field is the newly
selected font.

Thank you.

Change the fonts to something weird and make a new contact - you'll see they
do apply to all new outlook items. I don't know of anyway to change the font
on existing items, short of selecting the text and changing the font via the
menu.

I assume that you are referring to tools > options > mail format > fonts
(within the stationary and fonts section).
I have done that but it only changes the font for the email.  Possibly is
due to the limitations of the version that I am using, 2003.
