how to save outlook contacts to removable disk

I am trying to save my contacts list to a rewriteable cd, as a backup, but
the program will not let me save to anything other than to a file on the 'c'
drive.

You never save a PST from within the application. Copy your Outlook Data
file to the CD after you close Outlook.
