I tried unsuccessfully to copy contacts to a cd.  In doing so I created
additional pst folders, which I deleted.  Now when receiving email messages,
Outlook seems to be trying to find those deleted folders.  I receive a dialog
box, cannot be found and then a window to create the file.  How can I stop
Outlook from searching for those deleted folders?

You corrupted the profile and must create a new one from scratch (be sure to
use a different name for it, too, then connect it to your PST file).

You put me on the right track.  I did not have to create a new profile.  I
could change my profile and removed the additional pst files that I had
created.  That seems to have corrected the problem.  Thanks much.

Yup. If you had another profile that wasn't corrupt, you could use that,
too.
