Importing into Outlook

When trying to import names, tel, addresses from Excel
into Outlook I get the error message "MAPI error
OX80070057". This occurs at a certain point - the last
entry in "M". Names starting with N or after N do not get
imported.
I know importing works as I have done it before - not
since loading 2002 version though. Something in the set
up?

Trust someone can advise.

Regards,
Roger

Sounds like you're encountering a data error on a specific row in that Excel
sheet. My suggestion would be to delete the offending row and see if the
problem goes away.

You can also try importing it via ContactGenie and look at the error log
generated which may shed some light on the specific cause (assuming CGI has
a problem with any of the data).

Karl,
Thanx for the response. I solved the problem by first
saving the list as a Tab delimited Text file and then
imported it.

I'll try the delete row suggestion soon.

Roger
