How can I download my contact list to my home PC that also uses Office 2003?

Try this:
- on your office computer create a new PST file using the File menu > New >
Outlook Data File command
- drag/drop your contacts folder or create a folder then drag/drop
individual contacts to it
- right click on the root of the new set of folder and choose Close
- exit Outlook
- copy the PST file you just created on to some sort of media to get it home
- once you're home copy the PST file you created on to your home PC and make
sure it's not marked Read Only in its file properties (right click on it in
My Computer and choose Properties to check)
- Start Outlook
- Open the PST file using the File menu > Open > Outlook Data File command
- Drag/Drop the contact records you want into your normal Contacts folder
- Close the PST
