I recently got a replacement PDA and for some reason it emptied all of my
contacts out of my Outlook, and everything seemed to be set to syncronize
instead of the unit replacing Outlook. Now I have to put the info back in.
I have one other device that contains the contacts and schedules and I
exported it as CSV files. The problem is that my Outlook won't let me use
the Import function. When I click on Import/Export, only the Export function
is available. Before I enter all of the contacts again thru the keyboard, I
am hoping someone there can tell me how to fix Outlook. I have reinstalled
it a couple of times, but nothing changes. Thanks

Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs. Select Outlook (or Office), click
Change. Select Add or Remove Features and click Next. Check "Choose
advanced customization of applications" and click Next. Expand "Microsoft
Office Outlook". Click "Importers and Exporters" and choose "Run all from
My Computer" and click Update.
