Outlook is not autocompleting names from other than the Contact di

Using Outlook 2003 with all current upgrades. I have 3 phone lists in the
autcomplete directory and outlook only finds names from the Contact directory.

What did I do wrong?

Are the other folders part of your address book?

Autocompletion doesn't use your Contacts folders in any way whatsoever.
Instead, it remembers the addresses to which you've send messages and fills
them in the next time you address a message.
