I have a gentleman who was using a personal address book in Outlook 2000. He
just recently received a new computer and copied everything over and then
upgraded to Outlook 2003. He us running Windows XP. I found the PAB file.
I understand that Outlook 2003 does not used PABs. I tried importing into
Outlook and thought I could move everything into contacts. I never found out
if that was possible because after importing the file, there was nothing
there anyway. Is the address book just lost or is there anything else I can
try?
Thanks in advance,
Rose
Assuming you still have the PAB file, use this method to migrate to
Contacts:
http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/olconpab.htm#plan3
Note that in Outlook 2002/2003, Tools | Services has been replaced with
Tools | Email Accounts | View or Change existing directories or address
books.

Thank you very much! That helped perfectly. I already have him moving his
entries from pab to contacts.
