I just purchased Office 2003 Professional. I was hoping that outlook 2003
with the business contacts management software would replace ACT. I can't
figure out how to share our customer database on the server so that everyone
would be working off the same database. How is this done, if possible?
thanks

You might want to have a look at Osasync which enables all contacts, emails
etc to be shared over a LAN. I've been using it for two or three years and
it works fine.

Dear btulskie,
On this site is an article on various ways to share Outlook data:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HA011477571033.aspx
You will also find a list of third-party sharing tools:
http://www.mapistore.com/Outlook/Groupware
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/share.htm
The BCM (Business Contact Manager), can only share Contacts with 5 users but
not PST files or other folders as contacts folders. The BCM is a .NET
database and not based on PST files.
To share the BCM you will need this update:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/outlook/contactmanager/prodinfo/update.mspx
