I do not see the contact folder in the list under Personal folders. I get a
message that " The address list could not be display. The Contact folder
assoicated with this address list could not be opened; it may have been moved
or deleted, or you do not have permissions. Everything was work in outlook
2000. The new computer has XP Pro and I installed Office 2003.  The client is
on Windows 2003 serve running Active Directory. Thanks for any help!!

Click Tools>E-mail Options>View or change an existing directory or address
book>Next.  Select Outlook Address Book and click Change.  Remove the bad
folder references there.

Good Morning Brian

Thanks for your help but it did not work. What is happening is that I can
see the users contacts but they are not in there personal folder. I moved the
users PST file and open Outlook 2003 with a fresh start . If I open a new
Outlook the contacts folder is not showing. Do you have any suggestions?

Where are they, then?  Where do you see them?

State your EXACT steps.
