MS Office Forum / Outlook / Contacts / February 2006color coding messages
I have found how to color code messages from certain users, but if I set it for messages sent from Jim Smith to be red in color, any message I receive from Jim Jones or any other Jim also gets delivered in red. How can I change it to only receive messages from Jim Smith to come in red? How did you set it up to do what it's doing now? Then Color Messages from Smith,Jim in Red then I clicked on Apply Color. Is there somewhere I need to tell it not all Jim's? I didn't set any rules. > How did you set it up to do what it's doing now? Instead of telling it to color messages from Smith,Jim in red, I told it to color messages from Jim Smith in red. After I did that, all messages from Jim Jones went back to black. In the setup, it says to click on a message from that person. When I did that, it showed up as Smith,Jim(evidently that's how our Email is setup lastname,firstname instead of firstname lastname).
