I have found how to color code messages from certain users, but if I set it
for messages sent from Jim Smith to be red in color, any message I receive
from Jim Jones or any other Jim also gets delivered in red. How can I change
it to only receive messages from Jim Smith to come in red?

How did you set it up to do what it's doing now? Sounds like the rule needs
a little tweaking...

In my Inbox, I clicked on TOOLS/ORGANIZE/USING COLORS. Then Color Messages
from Smith,Jim in Red    then I clicked on Apply Color.      Is there
somewhere I need to tell it not all Jim's? I didn't set any rules.

You might have unintentionally told it to color all messages from 'Jim's &
'Smith's. Can you use Jim's email address.

I think I've figured it out. Instead of telling it to color messages from
Smith,Jim in red, I told it to color messages from Jim Smith in red. After I
did that, all messages from Jim Jones went back to black. In the setup, it
says to click on a message from that person. When I did that, it showed up as
Smith,Jim(evidently that's how our Email is setup     lastname, firstname
instead of firstname lastname). I'm thinking the instructions should tell you
to just type in the person's name.
