Hi,
I was creating a distribution list and had added 200+ names, when
Outlook suddenly said that I was out of memory and need to close
other windows.  Now I can not open the contact list to shrink it down
so it appears that I can not recover my work.   I get the same message
when I try to move or forward the list.  Any suggestions on how to
open the list and save the hours that I have put in to developing this
list.  I am running Outlook on a P4 Compaq laptop with 512mb RAM.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Gary

What do you mean you cannot open your "contact list?" Do you mean your
Distribution List?

You have now discovered why very few of us ever rely on DL's. Too
unreliable, too difficult to maintain. Just a bad choice all around. Use
Contact Subfolders or Categories instead, depending on your needs.

Well...the way I saved this list from one of my users was to drag it to
the desktop, locally, and split it up...I could never get it to open up
directly off of Exchange.  Hope this helps.  Justin
